J24 is the traffic light near the Appolo Coffee shop at USJ 4
J25 is the traffic light at SMK USJ 12
Getting the traffic to completely stop to enable trafic coming out
from USJ 5/11/Taipan to turn left into Appolo is tricky here. Unlike
the same proposal at the J 25 traffic light at the SMK 12 school, the
traffic we are talking here is outgoing and by now would have built
up into a sizeable volume and getting them to completely stop here is
very disrupting. Out going traffic starting from Jalan Kewajipan
turning into Jln Tujuan wld have stopped 4 times in a 4km stretch to
the federal highway. Compare to J25 where inbound traffic has
drastically reduced by the time it reaches that point and also the
road also slopes downwards thus accelerating the speed of the
vehicle, here at J 24, the road is flat
and congestion tends to build up here and thus the outgoing traffic
tends to slow down too thus the criss crossing can be done in a
manageable manner. With regards to the pedestrians that need to cross
here, most pedestrians here are adults and thus are deemed to be more careful!
as they can judge distance and speed better compared to J25 where
the young students are the ones crossing here. If there are students
crossing at J 24, they shld do so using the pedestrian crossing
bridge which is build right in fornt of the school. That is what I
feel. I shall put this to debate at the usj.com.my forum and see
what the rest say about this two prposal.

Hi all,
I am back in Malaysia to exercise my right for the coming GE on March 8.
I have kept the following mail for 2 1/2 years and though I am not
surprise that nothing has been done on the issue discussed below, I
still felt very sad and disappointed.
I have heard a lot of people saying that the most effective way to
have your
request answered or resolved by your "elected ADUN" is to bring it up
during election time.
Would appreciate your update on the issue.
Thank you.

Dear Lee CB,
To be fair to me, MPSJ had built the pedestrian bridge over this
stretch that will allow residents and students to cross over this
road. Also to avoid students walking along the fence to enter through
the main gate and as mentioned by you that it is dangerous. The
pedestrian bridge has covered pathways to go directly to the schools.
By building this bridge, lesser parents will need to send their
children by cars to the two schools. Hence, the traffic will be
reduced during the morning peak hours.
In fact, you should take credit for this pedestrian bridge and
especially the covered pathways that go directly into the two schools.
You emails and comment made me do it.
Bye.
Yours In Service,
Lee Hwa Beng

Dear Dato Lee,
Thank you for your time to provide us with the reply. We sincerely appreciate it as we are fully aware that you are very busy with your election campaign and ceramah.
The pedestrian bridge near J25 traffic light has certainly help to reduce the danger of crossing the road for the students and residents. Thank you.
However, I still hope that you can help to propose to MPSJ or put it up for debate in the usj.com.my forum (as mentioned by Mr. PC Yeoh in one of his replies below) regarding the proposal to completely stop the traffics at the
J24 and J25 traffic lights as explained in earlier mails.
At J24, there are 2 lanes for traffics from USJ 5/11/Taipan/MPSJ to turn right to Jalan Tujuan. Vehicles on the left lane would tend to "eat" into the path of the right lane vehicles in order to avoid those north bound motorists coming from USJ 12/13 etc.
Please refer to my attached drawing (applicable to both J24 and J25) for better understanding.
I hope this proposal can be accepted ASAP and I wish you all the best in your election campaign.
Thank you.
Lee CB

Dear Lee,
I shall look into the other problems after the election. I cannot do much now as everyone are busy, including MPSJ staff who are the returning officers for the Puchong area.
You can also remind if nothing done one month after election.
Bye.

Lee Hwa Beng
