As I had predicted a couple of months ago in this blog, SJ / USJ Community leaders will be disappointed with the list of MPSJ Councillors. Most of them had nominated themselves to be councillors and had expected to be appointed. Even 2 of them had been appointed, they had expected more.
I had predicted that the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) party like BN will mostly nominate cronies and supporters to all the councils. I admit PR is a bit better than BN as there are some NGO’s reps in all the councils. The residents had expected more of their roominess to be in the council and will surely be disappointed.
Personally, I am surprised PC Yeoh, Joe Gomez and Jo Singh are not in the MPSJ council. We all agree that they played very prominent roles during the last election to assist Hannah Yeoh. They had continued to assist Hannah Yeoh in her work till now.
However this is real politics. Politicians sometimes make decisions differently from the expectations of the rakyats. Although we claim to decide what is best for the rakyat, invariably we decide otherwise. That is why there are people who are always going against whoever controls the government.
As the councillors have now been appointed, we should give them a chance. The public would expect them to be more visible and vocal. The allowance is only RM500/= and month and RM50/= per meeting subject to a maximum of RM200/= in a month. Hence their job, especially those from the NGO’s are purely voluntarily and we should not push them too hard

> Why lah Lee Hwa Beng ? I am sorry that your candidate got thrown out lah ?
Your sidekick, Yap recommended your candidate in the media very strongly but got screwed ………. So your bitterness is understandable.

> So you do finally admit that BN cronies and vermins were infesting the MPSJ council during your tenure as the buffoon ADUN of Subang Jaya ?
You have admitted it so now can you explain why there was no NGO rep during your reign of incompetence ?

> My personal role was not “to assist Hannah Yeoh” ………….… it was ( AND GET THIS CLEAR, LEE HWA BENG ) to do everything in my ability to ensure that you and your sidekicks ( especially that Yap fellow and that fat fool that follows you around like a bad odour ) never ever darken the landscape of Subang Jaya again.
Now with your express support for pc, Joe Singh and I, our chances ( if we entertained the wish to do so ) of getting into the council is as good as screwed. Why ? Cos it is like having Robert Mugabe, a corrupt monster as we all know, recommend Morgan Svengirai as a candidate. Your tears of sympathy will be better shed for yourself and your masters in UMNO. Why ? For the kick in the butt that you fellows got on March 8th.

> Don’t push them “too hard” ? Why ? So that they will not outperform your sordid record as a ADUN and councilor ?
Guess what ? Every councilor that I have had the good fortune of talking to has not shied away from the onerous task ahead of them and has not asked that they be handled with kid gloves ...................… does that make sense to you Lee Hwa Beng? If it does not it is totally understandable seeing that you come from the most corrupt, butt-kissing, balls-carrying government this country has ever seen under the tutelage and guidance of The Mighty Motor Mouth Mahathir.
