NOW, since all the newly appointed councillors for MPSJ had, more-or-less, settled down and getting to work, here is something from the man-on-the-street in the Klang Valley as well as residents in Subang Jaya, have to say about the selection. They reckon they have the rights to know and that MPSJ should comply with their requests with answers. It seems that DAP in collaboration with MPSJ had exceeded the quota allowed for the appointment of councillors from a political party for Subang Jaya Council This is tantamount to cheating the Rakyat and residents. Such malpractices certainly deprived the community leader from an NGO and Community Service Groups, like the Subang Jaya Residents' Association and the Consumer Association of Subang Jaya/USJ, the chance of being appointed as a councillor. However, by and large, the residents in Subang Jaya feel that DAP together with MPSJ are not walking the talk. And, by their actions, they are worst of than MCA, for grabbing most of the councillors' vacancies including those meant for others (NGOs and Community Service Groups) by filling them with their own members. And besides, among those appointed councillors, there are some who have nothing doing with NGOs or any Community Service Groups in Subang Jaya, yet they have been chosen. This is unfair and outrageous. In fact, giving the names of councillors and what they do for a living is not good enough as it only identify a person but nothing at all about whether or not he or she is a representative from a NGO or Community Service Groups in Subang Jaya. Exactly, there is a need for MPSJ to reveal the exact number of councillors taken up by DAP members in Subang Jaya, including those taken away discreetly from the allocation which had been reserved for non-political people who currently holds key post in NGOs, such as The Subang Jaya Residents' Association and The Consummer Association of Subang Jaya/USJ. So, don't hold back this information from the residents if there is nothing to hide. Of course, the residents have the rights to know who is who and how many of these councillors actually come from NGOs and Community Service Groups in the township. This a calling to DAP and MPSJ, without much ado, to come up with a name list of all the councillors and that it is furnished with the necessary information of NGO's office held by them in Subang Jaya, prior to their appointments as MPSJ's councillors - to show transparency and accountability to the Rakyat and residents of Subang Jaya that the selection had been fair. In any case even if there are PAS / DAP / PKR chaps in NGO clothing sitting in the MPSJ council so what ? You, having been an accomplice ( by virtue of being an MCA member with very high connections and kissing cousin of Lee Hwa Beng ) to the crimes/ inefficiencies/ wastages/ nepotism / of the "BN run MPSJ" , have no right to question the new councillor lineup. Further you are a protem that was born yesterday. What credibility does your group have ?
Dont compare PKR or DAP or PAS with the hellhole days of MCA and UMNO gutter antics. Under the stewardship of Lee Hwa Beng you Barisan Neraka punks hit such low levels of morals, ethics, decency, criminal mismanagement that these fellows from DAP/PKR/PAS will never be able to touch those base levels even if they tried very hard.
So please cut the moralising crap. Save us the homilies. The Subang Jaya constituency rejected your MCA and Lee Hwa Beng "sebulat suara" meaning " you were flushed down the toilet of ignominy".
