sept 05, 2008...q&a : Rhythm Avenue Car Park

Hi Y.Bhg Dato Lee, all committee members and all purchasers,

There has been alot of hue and cry about the RM50.00 imposed by the developer for the usage of the car park. I have received many calls, sms and e mail with regards to the matter.

After meeting the developer the 3rd time, they have agreed to lower the amount to RM40.00 per month. However, i will require the blessing of all buyers on this matter.

As for the S&P agreement, we are "alloted" 1 car park bay but this clause is silent on wether we have pay or not. As a purchaser, we do not want to pay. But as the developer, they want to cover cost of maitanenece such as electricity, security and insatllion of camera's.

Where do we draw the line. Othyer laternative will be that the developer will increase the maitanence charges. Again, we will back to zero solution.

I am in the opinion that, let us move on from here and we will be able to decide on our own once we form the Joint Management Committee within these few months.Once the committe is formed, we will have our representatives sitting in the meeting and we will be able to monitor and check the accounts.

As for the Rhythm Avenue Residents Association, both PWC and us agree that we will call for a general meeting after the handover of keys of Block D.

As for now, inspite that some group saying that i am tired / retired and so on, kindly ignore them as i am compelled to finish my job and will take the lead to resolve all issues at Rhythm.In fact i even heard that some people are collecting money from unsuspecting residents. Kindly do not pay any money to any committee. We have worked hard the last 7 years to revive the project and we did not collect a single cents from any buyers.
