Dear Ahmad Fuad, I think you can read from the press that many people including PM and Dato’ Seri Samy Vellu are very concerned about the increase. The MCA Kelana Jaya Youth of which I am the Division Chairman also organized a protest at the Litrak office much earlier than the one organized by the opposition last weekend. Our former PM, Tun Dr Mahathir had admitted in the press that he had overlooked the terms of the agreement when the cabinet under him approved the 5 privitised highways. He also mentioned there is a clause where any excess collections due to the increased traffic than expected be given to the government. What can I do? Bye. Subject: 60% Hike in LDP Puchong Tollfrom USJ11 to Cyberjaya is EXORBITANT Dear Yang Berhormat Dato Lee Wah Beng I need your help to raise the issue of the toll increase in LDP I used to pay RM4 daily for the two LDP Puchong toll to Cyberjaya from our USJ11, home Now I have to pay RM6.40 per day or RM1.60 for each toll, ie 60pct I think 60pct is an exorbitant increase. Don’t you also think so..?If 30pct maybe justifiable. My total monthly toll has now increased fro RM80 to RM128, which I think is exorbitantly high. I am not happy with Mr Samy Vellu at how he handle the toll contractor.He is too comfortable up there he don’t feel the pinch and I think it is time that he step down He should not have signed such unwise contract with the toll operators on behalf of the government At the rate of what is happening now, I am beginning to loose faith in Pak LahHe is not a man of the people….anymore. He let Samy Veloo run his own show. I think you should be more capable than Dato Samy Value… He is no longer valuable to the Barisan I hope you will elevate this concern from the rakyat.
