Dear Hooi,
I’ve been following the correspondence on this subject for some time now. And I have refrained myself from making any comments until now. From the comments so far, I can only conclude the following:
1. Sime UEP has no intention of giving up their development plans for Subang Ria Park. They are just buying time.
2. MPSJ is just observing and see how things develop.
3. Our ADUN is not fully supportive of the residents’ request.
I know it may not sound very polite, but we should stop beating around the bush. Let’s call a spade a spade; nothing more, nothing less. No Development for Subang Ria Park.
Regards,
Lau YB

Dear Lau,
I have said many times and I shall repeat here again. My responsibility as the wakil rakyat is to carry out the wishes of the rakyat. The rakyat had spoken during the dialogue, i.e. no development at all.
Hence, I shall carry out this decision within my power. If I ever fail it will definitely not be due to lack of trying. I can be over-ruled by higher authority. But with the people’s power behind me, I can speak very loud. That is why it was VERY IMPORTANT to hold the hearing. Without it, I can only speak alone. Now I can speak, i.e. object to the development with the support of 1,700 residents.
Bye.
Yours In Service,
Lee Hwa Beng
