Ex-MPSJ heads turn up to support Run

THE Subang Jaya 10km Run does not only bring communities together in a healthy activity, it also does the same for the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) big family.
The Merdeka edition Subang Jaya 10km Run held at the MPSJ sports complex on Aug 26 saw a reunion of several of the council’s past presidents.
They include Datuk Ahmad Fuad Ismail and Datuk Mohd Arif Abdul Rahman who came to show their support for the event.
Ahmad Fuad, who served the council from 1997 to 2003, is now the Housing and Local Govern-ment Ministry secretary-general while Mohd Arif had served the council between from 2005 before taking his current post as the Selangor state financial officer in September last year.
The duo joined other VIPs for the event which was also attended by Selangor state secretary Datuk Ramli Mahmud, Subang Jaya state assemblyman Datuk Lee Hwa Beng and current MPSJ president Adnan Md Ikshan.
Runners were flagged off by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan.
