Dear Datuk Lee,
I am one of the buyer of Lagoon Perdana aparment. Just recently, I received news from Talam and IJM that due to Talam still owing money to old contractors, old contractors refused to move out/sign off, thus hindering IJM moving in. I called Mr. Gan , he told me this is true. Also, I have a friend working in IJM, thus I know of this. Could you please check with Talam and IJM what is actually happening and enlighten us on this matter. According to Mr. Gan, IJM cannot only start construction somewhere early next year for the 4 blocks. However, for service apartment, IJM already start construction and no problem since the service apartment has no old contractor.
A lot of buyers are uneasy and trying to organise a demo, which I strongly oppose. Datuk, please find out from Talam and IJM what is actually happening and let us know the details ASAP.

I have checked with Talam and they informed me that they have problem with the existing contractor and they are in the process of changing them. They said work should resume in 2 weeks time.
Do monitor for me and inform me if work does not start in 2 weeks time.
