The MPSJ Draft Master Plan is on display in MPSJ until 28th December 2007. The public can also buy a copy from MPSJ at RM100.00 per set. I have also given a copy to all JKP heads (Zone 1 to 5 only).
Members of the public must file any objections to the draft master plan by 28th December 2007. Only those who object will be invited to attend a hearing and given a chance to explain their objection(s) at the hearing.
I hope SJ / USJ / Sunway residents will pay attention to this plan. Once approved, it is very hard to change. Also the approval of the plan will mean MPSJ cannot change the zoning status in future without public hearing.
From my experience in previous hearings, very few people will object. They will later say they do not know about the draft plan that was displayed to the public. The launching of this open display was launched in Shah Alam with press coverage. It again appear in today's NST.
As the saying goes, "say your piece now or forever shut your mouth".
