Sorry to disturb you while you are on holiday. Just to update you on the situation in Mutiara Court. Since Wed, 19 December, there is no rectification job carry out on Block C & D. On 22nd Dec, I have met up with Lee You Hin on this and he called up CB Lim to arrange a contractor to shut the water tank in Block C which was flowing since 3 weeks ago. Beside, You Hin has informed CB Lim to contact Chief Inspector Nordin in the event he needs to send the contractor to do the rectification jobs. However, he only sent a contractor to shut the water tank in the afternoon. There after there isn't any activities until today.
Jesbir and Ong has called up CB Lim and Lee, the site supervisor. Both claimed that they are afraid to go to Mutiara Court with the reason the ex-security guards harrassed and threaten them due to two months salary arrears has not being paid to them. Besides, both Lim and the supervisor, Lee also claimed that they are afraid the ex-security guards will trail them to their house and threaten their family.
I have visited my apartment on 23rd Dec and spoken to Yuri the Indonesian contractor. He told me he couldnt complete the rectification job in my apartment because there is no supply of cement and many other building material. It was already 3 weeks and there is nothing he could do unless developer provides the material to him.
Due to this unsolved issues, some Block C and all Block D purchasers can't shift in. This would jeopardise our work in setting up the Joint Management Committee because the purchasers would not want to pay if they cant shift in.
The good news is the new security guards are good and responsible. Thanks to Dato for your opinion and appointing them to take care of our apartment.
In view of the water, electricity and rectification job, I hope Dato can assist us so that on Jan, 12, 2008, would be a history in Mutiara for all purchasers. Everyone has a proper home and are finally happy to move into their sweet home.

Latest update. I have spoken to Lee,site supervisor. He said Developer has paid the ex-security guards. However, he still afraid to go to Mutiara Court for safety reason. He has appealed to be place at other site/project. Most of Merge staff currently on leave. All matter concerning Mutiara Court would be on hold.
He admitted that the has chased for the building material on behalf of Mutiara Purchasers but Merge has not given any green light. So all defects would be on hold.
Regarding Block D, water problem has not been resolved. Has to wait until the new site supervisor to take over. He doesnt know who and when.
