Subject: [Lagoonperdanaresidents] Repeating Work Stoppages at Lagoon Perdana Uncompleted Apartments
Dear Dato Lee,
Kindly be informed that works at Lagoon Perdana apartments have stopped/slowed down again since its revival by IJMCSB not too many months ago. Purchasers of the apartments are very concerned with the recent work stoppage/slowed down works as it has happened numerous times before.
In your website, you have advised all purchasers to wait for a reply in 2 weeks either from the developer or IJMCSB since November 15th 2007. However till today, we are all still waiting and yet no defined explanations are offered nor visible outcomes are seen.
As indicated in our tele-conversation on December 17th 2007, please seriously consider arranging for a meeting among purchasers' representatives, Housing Ministry, Talam, TGSB, IJMCSB and yourself for all parties to understand the reason for the recent stop works and possible failure to deliver our apartments. Purchasers should be informed on LP work progress statuses and when works can resume again to meet the agreed deadlines as promised by Talam's representatives to all affected LP purchasers.
Dato, your immediate action on this matter is very important to us. Please represent us as our wakil rakyat. Appreciate if you can liase with Mr Gurcharan and/or Mr Ramindran on the meeting arrangements and next steps ahead. I would also like to suggest periodical meetings to be held among purchasers' representatives, developer, Talam, KPKT and IJMCSB in hope to prevent future work interruptions at LP.
Meanwhile, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family Season Greetings and a Happy New Year.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Nina Moy

Talam & IJM should stand out to give the reason for slowing down. Nina, I wish you could bring this matter direct to the Ministry rather bagging for our wakil rakyat. I wish PKNS could take up the project. How can we expect a good Government where this small issue can’t solved.
Thank you.
Regards,

Subject: STOP WORK?
Dear all,
I agree with your suggestion to have periodical meetings. It is better for IJM people to tell you directly rather than through me. In this way, you all can blame IJM directly if there is any delay in any dates fixed by them. Right now, I ask IJM, then I tell you all and I get the blame for any promises on dates not kept.
I shall try to arrange the meeting soonest.
Yours In Service,
Lee Hwa Beng
