Subject: Recent Stop works at LP Uncompleted Blocks-Next Steps Ahead
Dear LP uncompleted blocks purchasers,
Please take note that Dato Lee had agreed to call Talam to arrange for a meeting among purchasers, TGSB, Talam and IJMCSB to explain to all affected purchasers the current stop work situation at LP. Details of the meeting will be informed by Talam/TGSB.
Meanwhile, GM of IJMCSB mentioned over our tele-conversation yesterday that the recent stop work was unavoidable and it was not due to non-payment issues as rumoured. However, both IJM and Talam are actively searching to replace the existing contractor, Salam Kurnia. Kindly note that it is not an easy task to appoint a capable & reliable contractor.
GM of IJMCSB had pleaded to all purchasers to allow them more time so that they will be able to deliver their job well. Tendering exercise is due to complete end of January 08' although it can drag up to end Mar 08' if it turns sour. Nevertheless, GM of IJMCSB personally promised completion and delivery of our uncompleted apartments.
Don't take me word for word. IJMCSB have promised to explain their situation to all affected purchasers in the upcoming meeting. If any of you have doubts and/or questions, please ask them then.
Finally, please DO NOT act rashly/hastily while there is still a 'white knight' to save our apartments. Whatever grievances we have, please forward to the LPRA in writing. We need to show a united front in order to win this battle together.

REMINDER : IJMCSB is only appointed as a Principal Contractor by TGSB, Talam to help complete our apartments. They are NOT our project developer and hence, they are NOT legally answerable to purchasers.
My personal pledge to all purchasers - please DO NOT personally walk into IJMC's site office at Sunway to voice your grouses/dissatisfactions. If you urgently need to release your anger, please go directly to TGSB/Talam at Menara Maxisegar! If you can, wait for the meeting.

I have called Ms Chua Kim Lan of Talam and Mr Kua of IJMC about this issue yesterday. Both of them agreed to have a meeting to brief the buyers. However, they propose to meet when a new contractor is appointed.
