Dear Datuk, I believe that the main developer for usj1( Dergahayu), Giant and Mydin who are all contributing to the traffic problem, should all have a responsibility to help ease the traffic and therefore contribute towards funding this connection.since the opening of Giant & Mydin , the traffic have only got from bad to worst. Thak you for your effort in serving the community.

Subject: RE: TRAFFIC CONJESTION WITHIN USJ
Dear Chia,
I agree that commercial outlets like Giant and Mydin cause traffic congestion in USJ 1. However you must not forget that these outlets are important for a community too.
Anyway, Dergahayu contribute RM2 million for the ingress from Kesas to USJ 1 (going to start work) and Mydin RM800,000/= to MPSJ to upgrade the Giant interchange. In fact all developers including the developer of the 4 storey shophouses (RM600,000/=) in front of Giant and others all must contribute towards this fund. So far MPSJ have collected around RM3 million but we need around RM12 to RM15 million for this interchange. The Impian Meridien Apartment behind Summit not only contribute to this fund but they will be building at their cost the slip road from Kesas into their project, i.e. behind Hitech Village/Summit.
I have proposed a LRT station in front of Mydin. If this is approved, traffic congestion will reduce as most shoppers will prefer to travel by LRT.
It is not easy to solve traffic woes as SJ / USJ people keep on buying cars. However I shall try my best.

According to your post Impian Meridien Apartment behind Summit not only contribute to this fund but they will be building at their cost the slip road from Kesas into their project, i.e. behind Hitech Village/Summit.
The iproperty.com website indicates that a new link near the toll from/to Kesas and Persiaran Subang has been approved. Is this correct and what is the progress to date?
