Further to our update to you on 8 May 2008, we are pleased to report that there has been an enthusiastic response from purchasers who have come forward to settle their final payments, as early as last Friday.  We are encouraged by the response shown and we hope that purchasers would finally be able to enjoy the use of their properties.  

At the hearing at the the Melaka High Court on Monday morning, the learned Judge granted our application to deliver vacant possession and keys to all parties entitled to it.  Our solicitors are in the midst of preparing the draft Order to be signed by the High Court.  

The Melaka high court has granted the buyers of Rhythm
Avenue their wish. After a very tiring 10 long years,
we are finally getting our keys.

It seems that the buyers of Rhythm are just hoping and waiting for others to come out and help them with the keys of the apartment. Sad to say, so far only 10 people have confirmed to the trip to Melaka on Monday morning.  I would wish to thank them for their time and support. Rest of you buyers, kindly look again an your individual effort torevive the project. What have you done so far?

With regards to the injunction case by Yap Kwee Chai,
the court has set continue hearing on the 5th of May.

As such, all purchasers who want to go to melaka on

Well, we almost concluded with a sound developer in
January, but due to defeat of BN ( this guy was linked
to BN ) the person went Missing In Action and cannot
be contacted.

However, not letting things down, PSSB has almost
secured 2 parties to restart the project.

I apologise for the delay in reply as we were waiting for clarification     from our solicitors with regards to our ability to deliver vacant    possession (VP) and keys, in order for us to give you a meaningful    update.     We successfully obtained the Certificate of Fitness for    Occupation("CFO") from MPSJ on 28 March 2008 for Blocks A, B, C and the    retail podium.   However, our ability to deliver vacant possession    ("VP") and keys to the purchasers is always subject to our position    with regards to the injunction specifically, and the legal suit (both    action brought by the directors) as a whole.

I do not know what right the previous developer has to ask for the injunction.  It will be up to the court to decide.  PWC has appointed a lawyer to defend the case.

MPSJ gave the block cf last week.PWC should be sending letters to all
buyers soon abt it.However buyers must settle all dues b4 PWC issue
individual cf.

New buyers are those who purchased after the revival,ie from PWC.

The hearing was originally fixed on 11th March 2008 but has been postponed to 31st March 2008.
