BESIDES encouraging youths to adopt a healthy pursuit through basketball, the USJ6 Basketball Centre (U6BC) have been providing constant motivation to the cagers playing under their banner to do well in local competitions.
Although the rewards might not be substantial, they were enough to spur the players to give their best on court.
MORE non-Chinese are taking up basketball in Subang Jaya now compared to six years ago, according to Subang Jaya assemblyman Datuk Lee Hwa Beng.
“When I started the project to promote basketball in 2002 there were not many non-Chinese players. Now more of them can be seen playing at the courts in Subang Jaya ,” he said.

Please be advised of the revised schedule for the following games:
2 out of the 4 games on 3 June were not played due to heavy rain & lightning. The wet and slippery courts make play impossible and posed a great danger to players, referees and officials. The SS 17 vs SS 19 game managed to complete the first and second quarters only.
So this Saturday game between SS 17 and SS 19 will be played in SS 19.
